| The Alternative Buildings Yurt System was designed
by an American aircraft designer. Great attention has been given to both
function and form. The system has been engineered to be extremely resilient
in a variety of adverse conditions, including high winds. While canvas
yurts have a tendency to rot over time, our fiberglass yurts are not susceptible
to the elements.
- 200 mph Wind Rating: Our yurt system carries a 200 mph wind rating
and has been given the Hurricane Impact Test.
- ASTM Fire Resistance Ratings: The R-21 insulation is a first for the
yurt industry.
